The Creative Living Department hosts the Second Annual Tea Competition at the Americraft Center Stage as part of the Oregon State Parks and Recreation. Tea contest entrants (retail or wholesale tea) must be located in Oregon. If your company is a tea wholesaler located in a different state but has Oregon retail, distributor or sub-wholesaler status, please encourage them to enter the tea contest!

Entry dates: Tea Contest Entry Forms received no later than Friday, August 3, 2012. Tea Contest Samples to be received by August 10, 2012 for preliminary judging.

There are three classifications for contestants in tea or herbs:

Wholesale
Oregon Specialty Tea Grower

Celebri-tea judging is at 10:00 a.m. followed by public tea sampling to vote for a People's Choice award.

Oregon's Finest Tea Competition

If you grow tea, sell tea or supply tea and your business is located in Oregon, this contest is for you! What a great way to introduce your business to consumers!

All contestants' logos and information will be listed on the website with hyperlinks to your business. All you need to do for the listing is send your entry form to the Oregon State Fair along with the entry form then send e-mail a copy of the entry along with your photo or logo and company information. It's that easy!

Tea Lovers and Enthusiasts!

This is a great way to kick-off the fun and entertainment at Oregon State Fair! After entering the fair on Saturday morning, August 25th, just go straight to the Americraft Center Stage to observe the Tea Competition. Afterwards, the winners will be sampling their teas for you to vote on a People's Choice award.
Mark your calendars now - you don't want to miss the action with the Celebri-tea Judges. Bring your cameras and flip-cams! It'll be a great time to upload photos and videos to Facebook and Twitter pages.
